Part 11

plastic screws and nuts

The plastic screws and nuts arrived, I can complete the installation of the Isolation Transformer.

I put some plastic rings under the metal plate in order to keep the plate insulated from the aluminum case.

The Isolation Transformer Coil is installed into the aluminum case.

The smaller case (Input part) is placed above the bigger case.

All wires are connected correctly.

The Isolation Transformer runs normally without load.

Since the Isolation Transformer Coil is not the Hi-End product, there is a little voltage drop at the output during actual operation ... About 5 V dropping with a 1000W hair blower ... 5/225 = 2.2%

The Long Run Test is started. I have to make sure the Isolation Transformer is safe and stable before using it with my Low-Fi system.

Later, may be one week later, I will update the conditions of the Isolation Transformer and share the circuit diagram.
